    Steve Morrissey is the Founder and Managing Partner of The Pi Group (Perpetual Insights, Pi Executive and Perpetual Ambition). He has more than 18 years of experience in professional recruitment and senior-level executive search and talent management. Specializing in senior appointments, from Chief Marketing Officer to EVP Sales to Chief Customer Officer and other C-Suite assignments, he focuses solely on the consumer vertical. Steve’s clients range from entrepreneurial startups to family owned businesses to publicly traded Fortune 500 companies. Steve is committed to helping clients identify agile leaders who can successfully drive the transformation necessary to create more customer-centric organizations.

    In addition to providing Executive Search services to his clients, he operates as an Executive Coach, working with senior leaders, HR and L&D professionals to create sustainable performance focused workplace coaching cultures.

    Before starting The Pi Group (Perpetual Insights, Pi Executive and Perpetual Ambition), Steve enjoyed a fourteen year career with a global executive search firm beginning in his native UK. He was relocated from London to New York in 2005 with the mandate to develop the North American business. Throughout his career he has focused on placing marketing and sales talent to help his clients successfully drive consumer engagement resulting in substantial brand growth and as such is uniquely qualified to serve clients for US and global companies.

    Prior to the corporate world, Steve was appointed and earned an eight-year commission as a Royal Marines Commando Officer in the UK. Such early experiences helped him forge the necessary entrepreneurial qualities of team-leadership, improvisation, tenacity, an appetite for calculated risk and a sense of humor in adversity.

Tasked with the development and growth of Perpetual Insights’ Food & Beverage and Media client portfolio, Kimberly has formed lasting partnerships with leading Fortune 500 companies as well as emerging startups.

    In addition to executive recruitment, Kimberly is a key contributor to the development and execution of Pi’s internal training program building internal excellence capabilities with both new and existing team members. Her ability to identify key drivers of organizational growth fuels her ability to harness the best consumer goods talent in the marketplace for her clients.

    Prior to joining Perpetual Insights, Kimberly received her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Fairfield University and began her career in marketing at global brand leader Canon prior to becoming a leader in pharmaceutical sales for Nephron Pharmaceuticals. Kimberly is a Long Island native and can often be found on the beach in the summer, on the slopes in the winter or running about town with her beautiful shepherd mix, Layla. A talented baker, no birthday at Perpetual Insights is complete without one of her delicious creations.

    Shannon Silsby brings almost 20 years of brand marketing experience to the Perpetual Insights Team having led global innovation teams for Unilever as well as creating breakthrough growth on both the top and bottom lines for national brands at privately held Combe Incorporated and venture capital backed Sun Products Corporation. Having been classically trained in marketing she knows the talent it takes to build brands by leveraging consumer insights, crafting brand visions and rallying highly effective teams.

    As an executive recruiter for the last two years she has continued to create brand value for clients through what arguably is the most important part of the mix…people.

While recruiting senior level executives for US companies expanding their international footprints, Pierre has also significant experience in helping foreign entities building out US businesses.

After graduating, Pierre ran various Business Units in Africa, Eastern & Western Europe. In 2006 he relocated to the United States with the mandate to develop the North American presence of a major European Executive search firm.
    Pierre now lives in Darien, Connecticut and is married to a lovely American wife. He is the father of two handsome and athletic boys. Pierre is an avid hiker who still believes he can keep up with his teenage boys. On top of climbing in the Alps and Hawaii, he likes skydiving, skiing and competing on as many Golf courses as possible around the world. Pierre is an active member of the French/American Chamber of Commerce in New York and French Founders.

    Dom Moorhouse is a Partner and Board Member at Perpetual Insights. Prior to this role, Dom founded Moorhouse Consulting - a leading UK management consultancy in the field of transformational change and complex programme delivery. Dom led this company from singleton startup to a c. 80-strong, $30m business sale (to BT) in under five years; the company continues to thrive.

    Prior to this, Dom had an eight-year Officer commission with HM Royal Marines and was a programme leadership specialist at Deloitte Consulting.

    Dom is now a recognised expert in strategic corporate (talent/capability/culture) development. He has written a number of books on the topic of entrepreneurism and corporate development and now advises a number of high-growth, ambitious boards in the recruitment and development of high-performing senior teams and value-adding, competitive capabilities. In the UK, he runs - twice annually - residential seminars for business leaders: focused on how to optimally move from strategy to delivery - with a systematic discipline and within a highly engaged team culture.

    Dom is based in the UK and serves as our senior European Partner; he is also in the US on multiple occasions throughout the year - supporting our facilitation of board-level reviews, senior talent selection/appraisal and strategic team development (building high-performing, people-centric cultures) work.

    He has a first-class computing degree, an MBA and programme management accreditation (PMP, Prince2, MSP). He is a UK Chartered Director and a Fellow of both the Institute of Management Consultancy (CMC qualified) and the Association of Project Management (APM). He is currently, also, in the final straits of a second degree with the Open University: Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

    Outside of work, Dom shares the demands, with his wife Roz, of parenting three very active, growing children. With what little residual time there is remaining, Dom mentors with the Prince’s Trust and is on the working group for a mental health organisation (The Mountain Way) - seeking to reduce the tragic incidence of broken lives and suicide amongst UK veterans. He also tries desperately hard to hang onto a zest for an active, outdoor life (which has in the past included being a Zambezi white water raft guide, endurance canoeist, climber and expeditioner) but now largely involves CrossFit and paragliding.

    Lauren brings a unique expertise to The Pi Group, with a cross functional background from Procter & Gamble combined with career coaching experience at the University of Chicago. While at P&G, Lauren worked in account management, business development, strategic planning and public relations across multiple beauty categories including prestige skincare, color cosmetics, and fine fragrances. Lauren’s 9 years on the client side of the business, paired with her commitment to delivering excellent customer service, provides clients and candidates a best-in-class experience and most importantly - results. During her tenure at the University of Chicago, Lauren worked with candidates and organizations to ensure a positive job hiring process.

    Lauren enjoys staying active through scuba diving, skiing, sailing, and swimming, and loves traveling anywhere that facilitates any or all of these activities.     William Corcoran

    Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer

    William Corcoran brings over 20 years of experience building and enhancing operations within service organizations to The Pi Group (Perpetual Insights, Pi Executive and Perpetual Ambition). An entrepreneurial, growth-minded executive and respected team leader who has launched and led several organizations through various stages of growth while adhering to a fundamentally disciplined approach to quality control and continuous process improvement. Prior to joining The Pi Group, Bill was the Chief Financial and Operating Officer for Queenscliff Partners LP, a financial services organization who specialized in emerging markets investing.

    Bill received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University. After completing his degree, he worked for a public accounting firm where he earned his license as a Certified Public Accountant.

    Bill lives in Darien, Connecticut where he enjoys spending time with his family. He’s an avid music lover who also enjoys yoga, golf, ice hockey and stand-up paddle boarding in his spare time.

In addition, he works as an independent consultant following an extensive corporate career leading international consumer marketing organizations. He brings innovative thinking to transform business performance from his experiences leading global organizations in industries such as Personal Care Products, Consumer Household Appliances, Power Tools and Beverage Alcohol. His success in leading a diverse portfolio of businesses over the past 30 years demonstrates his agility to quickly analyze new industry dynamics, strategically evaluate competitive practices and craft business plans leveraging new growth drivers and organizational capabilities. Peter is skilled in defining a clear vision and communicating business plans for success, prioritizing resources and engaging functional teams to break down organizational barriers that compromise focus and execution. He develops cultures that value accountability, diversity of thought and discipline for operational excellence.

    In his most recent corporate role Peter served as President, Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer for Diageo North America. In this role, Peter transformed and built the marketing and product development organizations with new capabilities, a more focused strategic outlook and business plan that delivered accelerated growth and positioned Diageo as the industry leader in product innovation. As a member of the NA Executive Team, he played a key role in developing organizational strategy and growth targets for Diageo’s most important global region.

    In his diverse career, Peter has worked in six different industries and successfully led organizations on three continents. After teaching at The University of Canterbury’s Graduate School of Business in New Zealand, Peter relocated his family to Switzerland to serve as Procter & Gamble’s Vice President of European Marketing for Duracell Batteries and Braun Appliances. Prior to his overseas roles, Peter served as Gillette's head of North American Marketing where he led the brand marketing organization for the company’s flagship Blade/Razor and Personal Care Business. Earlier in his career, he served as Director of North American Marketing at Black & Decker where he was involved in launching the DeWalt Power Tool Company. Peter began his career after college working in a steel mill on the shores of Lake Erie as a management trainee in Labor Relations.

    Peter is an alumnus of Cornell University and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business. He currently serves on the Board Of Directors of Providence Equity Partners’ Benefit Street RFT, The Pi Group, Effie’s Worldwide, Inc, The Splash Beverage Group and on the Advisory Boards of IgnitionOne Interactive Inc., Viridian Capital Advisors and SX Liquors LLC.     Jessica is based in Perpetual Insight’s New York office, and brings professional recruitment and senior-level search expertise from across the US and Canada. Prior to joining Perpetual Insights, Jess spent several years with a boutique executive search and talent advisory firm where she was responsible for successfully and independently breaking ground on the company’s Toronto operations.
    With professional roots in brand strategy, she began her career building and breaking go-to-market, communication and marketing strategies for high-growth North American startups. These foundations have deeply influenced how Jess supports clients and candidates, enabling her to take their stories to market with creative and competitive advantage.
    Jess focuses on senior finance and accounting searches (CFO, Chief Accounting Officer, Controller, Corporate Strategy, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investor Relations, Tax and Treasury) for clients across the consumer space, with a focus on the Wine & Spirits and Food & Beverage sectors.
    The sole Canadian on Perpetual Insights’ roster, Jess originally hails from Edmonton and carries a master’s degree from McGill University.     Lauren brings unique expertise to The Pi Group, with a multi-functional background working on some of the world’s premier brands in the marketing space, serving as an educator for a startup disruptive beauty brand and utilizing her interest in anatomy and physical fitness as a personal trainer. Her prior experience building brands both agency and client side, combined with her passion for people and career development make her an ideal fit for the recruitment industry.

    A strategic business partner and innovative thinker, Lauren is skilled at building strong relationships with both clients and candidates. Her personality causes her to strive for perfection in placements, while not taking herself too seriously in the process.

    There is nothing more therapeutic to Lauren than a good sweat from running along the water. She is happiest at the beach, with her toes in the sand and the waves crashing around her. Although originally from the West Coast, Lauren now lives in Darien with her husband Greg, their two toddler boys and their lazy Puggle Murphy.   • Damien Cotter

    Damien Cotter

    Senior Director

    Damien Cotter is a Senior Director at Perpetual Insights with 12 years experience in executive search from the US and EU. After a number of years in a technical capacity working for Boston Scientific at their St Paul, Minnesota and Ireland locations he joined a boutique specialty healthcare recruitment firm delivering full cycle recruitment projects for multinational Fortune 500 companies in the pharmaceutical and medical devices fields leveraging his experience working within the FDA governed field.

    In 2012 he made the move to Michael Page International, to head up and establish a new Northeast Technical recruitment division based out of their Stamford, CT location. Over the course of 6 years the team was grown out to a multi-tiered organization successfully building out a brand a new client base in the consumer goods, healthcare and aerospace sectors. The focus of the team was recruitment efforts within a discipline of technical engineering and supply chain with key successes including examples such as VP Supply Chain for a Food & Beverage NY based startup and Head of Quality Engineering for a well-established US luxury consumer goods organization. He completed this with a strategic business development plan in conjunction with his technical nous from his earlier career.

    Damien hold a bachelors degree in Materials Science from the University of Limerick and has joined Pi’s Insights business to further build out their Supply Chain, Operations and Procurement division within the food & beverages and consumer goods fields.
