Responsibilities:

  1. The Procurement Manager collaboratively engages as a business partner to the brands, by providing top quality, brand appropriate, timely, competitively sourced goods, services, and business solutions that deliver value
  2. Proactively manages a category of spend and the associated team members (brand marketing, department associates, suppliers) and communicates deliverables and expectations
  3. Guarantees the realization of the projects he/she is responsible for Marketing Services, in terms of cost, time to market, quality & sustainability
  4. Maintains a database of agency/supplier capabilities and interviews agencies to assess their suitability, making recommendations for engagement
  5. Oversees the assigned projects, noting key deliverables and status of projects
  6. Delivers monthly and quarterly reporting metrics to department Director
  7. Follows the SOPs and policy set by the department Director and educates colleagues on Best Practices and Ways of Working
  8. Launches the RFQs to the suppliers selected from the panel, advocates strategy, analyses, and benchmarks results and negotiates with the suppliers 
  9. Organizes working sessions between the brands and agencies whenever needed
  10. Reviews, and manages the contracts and supplier/agency negotiations and feedback; tracks key contracts & expiration dates to ensure proactivity
  11. Initializes rate cards & staffing plans to bring efficiency to the sourcing, benchmarking & negotiations processes
  12. Pro-actively develops and manages key stakeholders, suppliers, and agencies; develops relationships, completes scorecards, communicates feedback
  13. Promotes an environment of innovation, respect, and collaboration
  14. Facilitates educational sessions to inform marketing associates regarding WOW and Best Practices
  15. Researches and recommends tools, processes & systems to ensure effective business processes
  16. Attends related industry conferences & training to maintain competitive skills set.
  17. Keeps a synthetic vision of the market category and knows the main players and industry trends
  18. Ensures that negotiation processes are well managed and ensures strategic objectives are reached
  19. Manages the agency & supplier panel by evaluating suppliers and developing relationships
  20. Manages through challenges such as quality or delay issues, if necessary, with agencies, suppliers and brand contacts
  21. Ensure the reporting of his/her activities toward department Director
  22. Achieves KPIs (savings, cost avoidance, performance, risk management, industry intelligence, supplier/agency mapping, etc.) and reports progress routinely to department Director
  23. Works with Accounts Payable to ensure continuity of the Procure-to-Pay process
  24. Brings a merchandising & agency knowledge, marketing skill and sensibility to products and projects
  25. Informs all the project members and their hierarchy on progress and timelines and manages the process and follow up to ensure timely receipt of service
  26. Guarantees the technical feasibility of the project, in accordance with the SOWs
  27. Ensures the management of the schedules and goals with best-in-class project management skills
  28. Guarantees the achievement of the Quality, Timing and Cost objectives for each project
  29. Selects suppliers & agencies in accordance with department strategy and manages them from a portfolio perspective

Requirements:

Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Procurement and/or Marketing

Professional:

  • Experience in Marketing Procurement (5 years) and/or Marketing
  • Experience in Wines & Spirits preferred
  • Experience in Marketing or in an agency welcomed

Technical Skills:
