Company Overview

Our client is a long-established Greater New York based multinational industrial manufacturing firm. They are seeking an individual with a career background in the manufacturing industry with a proven track record in Production and Process Management.

The applicant is responsible for ensuring production meet metrics requirement and timely delivery. It is responsible for training, developing, implementing, and production technicians to ensure fluid production, continuous improvement, process yield and consistent with established standards and end customer requirements.


  • Monitor budget and utilize operational resources, participate in safety program development.
  • Manage the selection, training and development of production staff.
  • Oversee the manufacturing processes run smoothly, are cost-effective and deliver products on time.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair of machines to avoid downtime and delays, ensure production process and machinery are in compliance with customer specifications and professional and safety standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day production schedules, operational and plant activities.

  • Respond to and address problems that prevent production line failures
  • Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality
  • Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;
  • Supervising and motivating a team of workers

  • Review engineering recommended process changes
  • To ensure process is appropriate with operating goals.
  • Analyze and resolve scheduling issues that would cause production delays.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to ensure timely material availability and anticipate delays.
  • Organize and implement production work timelines and goals to ensure on-time customer fulfillment and facility capability.
  • Review job cost variances and identify potential material or manufacturability issues with corrective action recommendations.


  • Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years relevant experience
  • Proven track record of the setup and management of successful production lines
  • Knowledge of the use of an ERP software
  • Lean manufacturing Six Sigma, Kaizen, 6S principles a plus
  • Training Requirements for cross-functional teams in APICS CPIM, PMI a plus
